The New Heaven And New Earth

By Mike Bradley Now that Satan, all of his fallen angels and all of unsaved humanity have been cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, there is only one thing left. God will now give the rest of saved humanity their final reward - the new heaven and the new earth. Believe it or not, this is actually going to be better than what we will get during the Millennium Kingdom. This will be our final abode and something very awesome happens when we get this new heaven and new earth. When we get the 1000 year Millennium Kingdom, we get Jesus literally coming down from heaven to rule our earth from the city of Jerusalem. When we get the new heaven and the new earth - WE WILL GET GOD THE FATHER HIMSELF LITERALLY COMING DOWN FROM HEAVEN TO OUR NEW EARTH AND NEW HEAVEN TO DWELL AND LIVE AMONG US FOREVER AND EVER! We will now have both Jesus and God the Father dwelling among us. Here is what basically is going to happen.
1. Our earth and our atmospheric heaven will "pass away." In its place, we will get a new earth and a new atmospheric heaven. 2. There will no longer be any seas. 2/3 of the earth is water. With all the sea waters being taken out, we will have more land space in which to accommodate everyone. 3. There will no longer be any night. It will be daylight all the time. There will no longer be any sun or moon to shine their light. The Bible says we no longer have need of the sun or moon because the glory of God will illuminate the earth! 4. There will no longer be any more death in any way, shape or form. The curse of Adam and Eve will have finally been broken and done away with. In the Millennium Kingdom, as good as it is going to be, there is still physical death for those humans who survive the Tribulation and enter into it physically. In addition to "death" in any form being taken out, there will also be no more pain since we will all have spiritual glorified bodies. The Bible says that all sorrow, pain, crying and death will be taken away. Every tear will be wiped away. 5. All things will be made new. I dont think our imaginations can even begin to imagine what this verse is telling us just in that one statement. 6. God the Father Himself will now come onto our earth to live and dwell with us forever and ever. The Bible says that we will no longer need the temple that is in Jerusalem in the Millennium Kingdom. The Bible says that both God the Father and Jesus Christ will now be the Temple of God Themselves! The Bible says that the tabernacle of God will now be with men, that we will dwell with Him, that we will be His people and He will be our God forever and ever. 7. In the Millennium Kingdom, Jesus will rule this earth from the city of Jerusalem. It will be Gods capital. However, in the New Heaven and New Earth, we will get a New Jerusalem.
The Bible says that this new city will be like a square. It's length will be as great as its width. Bible Scholars feel that this city may literally be 1500 miles wide. It will be huge! This new city of Jerusalem will literally descend down from Heaven itself - it comes directly from God to us on this new earth. The Bible says that its walls are constructed of jasper and the city will be pure gold like clear glass. It says that the foundations of the walls will be adorned with all kinds of precious stones - the first foundation being jasper, the second foundation being sapphire, the third foundation being chalcedony and the fourth foundation being emerald, etc. The Bible goes on to state that there are apparently 12 of these foundations and each foundation is made with a different beautiful element. This is all described in Revelations 21:19-20. There will be 12 gates with each of the gates being made of pearl. The streets of this city will be pure gold. Each of the 12 gates will have an angel on it. There will 3 gates each to the north, south, east and west. Since all of the bad people have been taken out, there will be nothing left that will enter this holy city that will defile it or cause any type of abomination in it. The gates to this city will always be open for all to enter in at anytime. Now here are the Scripture verses specifically telling us all of this. The Scripture Verses 1. This first verse tells us that our earth and our heaven as we know it now will "pass away," and in its place we get a new heaven and a new earth. This verse also tells us that there will no more sea in this new earth. Here it is:
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea." (Revelations 21:1)
2. This next verse tells us that the tabernacle of God will come down from heaven onto this new earth and that God Himself will dwell with us - that He will be our God and that we will be His people. This next verse also tells us that God will wipe away every tear, that there will be no more death, sorrow, crying or pain and that He will be making all things brand new! Here it is:
"And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." (Revelations 21:3-5)
3. This next verse tells us that there will be no more temple - that God and Jesus will be the temple Themselves. It also tells us that we will no longer have the sun or moon because God Himself will illuminate the earth with His glory. It also says there will be no more night and that the gates of the new city of Jerusalem will always be open to all the nations and that nothing that could possibly defile it will ever enter into it. Here it is:

"But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its Temple. And the city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and the Lamb its light. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lambs Book of Life." (Revelations 21: 22-27)
4. This next verse also tells us that there will be no more curse from Adam and Eve and once again states that there will be no more night. It says that we shall see the face of at least Jesus and possibly God Himself and that we shall reign with God and Jesus forever.
"And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. And there shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever." (Revelations 22:3-5)
5. Now here are the verses about the new city of Jerusalem and what it will be like.

"Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." (Revelations 21:2) "And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. And her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. And she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of Israel: three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. And the city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as its breadth ... And the construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass." (Revelations 21:10-21).
Conclusion As bad as things are going to get in the future, and possibly in the near future for all of us, each Christian has to keep his eyes on the final end. We first get 1000 years of perfect peace in the Millennium Kingdom with Jesus as the sole supreme ruler of this earth, and then the final ultimate end with the creation of a brand new heaven and a brand new earth, with God the Father Himself coming down to live and dwell with all of us forever and ever.
This new earth and new heaven is going to be beyond anything that our imaginations can even begin to conjure up. The above Scripture verses only give us a partial vision and partial knowledge of what we are all going to end up with in this new environment. One of the most amazing things about the Bible is all of the knowledge and information that is contained in it telling us what is in store for all of us in the future. When you put a lot of these verses together like you would a jigsaw puzzle, the knowledge and messages come through loud and clear. God the Father is truly telling us exactly what is in store for all of us in the future so that we can all properly prepare to receive it. Plant them in a cluster of all blue or mix them in with other flowers for a rainbow of color. When planting flowers, it is important to remember to follow the instructions on the tag for the plant. Always buy plants that will thrive in the conditions in which you intend to grow them. A plant that loves sun won't do well in a shady area and you will only be disappointed with the results. When planning your garden, be aware of the bloom time of the flowers. Planting perennials with different bloom times near each other will insure a garden that has blooms all season long. Remember also to plan for the height of the plants, putting the taller ones in the back. Below is a list of favorite blue flowering plants that you might want to consider for your garden: Polemonuim, Blue Pearl - A compact plant with deep sky blue flowers that grows to 10". It blooms in late spring to early summer. Plant in partial shade and in well drained soil. Blue Sea Holly - This dramatic plant has a lavender blue cone like flower with long spiked petals. It grows to 30" and is a favorite for dried flower arrangements. Plant in full sun - blooms in mid to late summer. Delphinium, Butterfly Blue - Bright blue delicate flowers adorn this plant that blooms in early to mid summer. It reaches 10" tall and prefers a sunny location with rich moist soil. Hydrangea, Nikko Blue - Gigantic clumps of blue flowers adorn this shrub for most of the summer. In the fall, the flowers turn a golden color. This plant is a new variety that prefers rich soil but will grow in shade, partial sun or full sun. Vinca - Medium blue flowers and glossy green leaves form a carpet that grows to about 6" tall and blooms in mid spring. This plant will grow in most soil conditions, in the shade or sun. Ajuga, Bronze Beauty - This short bushy plant has spikes of blue flowers that grows quickly. Great as a ground cover or in raised beds. It blooms in spring and prefers a shady area. Montecito Real Estate from 2000 to 2005 for the First 10 Months of Each Year

By Gary Woods Theres been a lot written and said about how the numbers of Montecito Real Estate sales are off when you compare them to 2004. Since its always a good idea to stand back and get a little perspective to see where weve been I thought Id go back to 2000 and look at each subsequent year to today. Okay, so looking at Montecito Real Estate for 2000 from Jan. 1 through October 31 we see 196 sales with a median price of $1.54 million. The number of listings for the same time period was 282 with a median list price of $1.745. This means that the median sales price was about $200,000 below that of the median list price. For 2001 for the same time period sales were slightly slower with 145 properties closing escrow from 1/1 to 10/31. The median sales price was up ever so slightly to $1.565 million. The number of homes that came on the market for that time period was 335 with a median list price of $2.08. this means that the expectations of the sellers in 2001 increased but buyers restrained that enthusiasm keeping the selling prices almost flat from 00 to 01. So what happened in 2002 as far as sales were concerned? From 1/1 to 10/31 there were 183 houses that closed escrow. The median sales price at that time stayed pretty close to the 2001 level coming in at $1.72 million. The number of listings was 328 year to date for 2002 with a median list price of $2.25 million. That means from 2001 to 2002 sales and prices were increasing marginally. In Montecito Real Estate for 2003 the number of sales dipped slightly to 166 while the median sales price rose again to $1.92 million. The numbers of listings for that time period were up slightly at 339 and the median list price was about where it was in 2002 with a slight rise to $2.61 million. Moving into 2004 what happened? Well in 2004 at that time we had 175 sales with a median sales price of $2.39 million. So sales inched up from the previous year but the sales price moved up dramatically. On the listing side 312 properties came on the market and the median asking price zoomed up to $2.92 million. So both the sales and particularly the listing prices moved up. Now in 2005 where are we with Montecito Real Estate? Well sales are up by 4 from 2004 for a total of 179 and the median sales price is only slightly ahead at $2.58. The numbers of listings are off to 43 for a total of 269 and the median list price is up to $3.1. So looking back from 2000 to 2005 we had 196, 145, 183, 166 and 175 sales respectively. This is really a pretty remarkable example of stability. The median sales price from 2000 to 2005 went, $1.54, $1.565, $1.72, $2.39 to $2.58 with the big jump coming between 03 and 04. So as far as Montecito Real Estate is concerned the figures look pretty stable to me, and I certainly dont see a bubble there. By James Brito It seemed like there was no chance this marriage could go wrong for my friend Sal. He was in love with this gal. Mary was THE one. They had only dated for 4 months, were only 20 years old, and neither had ever lived with a partner before, but still it felt meant to be. Sal had never dated much, in fact had some difficulty getting any girl to date him. But Mary had seen something in him, and that was all he needed. He wasnt going to be lonely for the rest of his life, something he had always feared. This marriage was going to last forever. He knew it. Well, thats what Steve thought he knew. But it only took 9 months before Sal and Mary bitterly ended their train-wreck of a marriage. What had seemed like a perfect union when he proposed, became a perfect disaster in less than a year. A year earlier they had talked of love, and within a year they talked of hate and bitterness. Sal couldnt quite figure out what went wrong, but to me it was immediately obvious: He went for the first girl who gave him a chance. Because he didnt want to be lonely. We just go for the first women who seems crazy enough to hook up with us, and enter into a long-term relationship with her because we fear we wont get anyone better. We doubt the power thats within us. That was the case with Sal. But that attitude isnt fair. Not to you, and definitely NOT to the woman. Think about it. If your woman went out with you just because she was afraid she wouldnt be able to find a better man, would you call that love? Hell no. Its more like desperation. And yet there are millions of men who have this desperate kind of thinking. The good news is, It doesnt have to be this way! If you decide what it is you really need in a woman, then you wont go into a relationship with a girl if she doesnt conform to what you need. If you cant stand a woman whos a neat freak, dont let a realtionship with someone whos like that last. If you like privacy and she needs to be around you every second of the day, spare BOTH of yourselves lots of heartache. The key is to know what you want, and to actually be PICKY about it. Even if youre having trouble getting women, entering into a relationship with a woman just because shes willing to date you, is a recipe for disaster. Its also the reason there are so many divorcesdivorces like my friend Sals. Relationship expert Ken Kenny puts it best: "The more a man can come from a place of choicetwo things happen, #1, the higher quality women he will attract, and #2, the more likely the relationships will last, because he wont rush into something that isnt ideal." And by believing in ourselves, by being choosy, we actually will get what we want. So guys, dont just go for anyone. KNOW who you want, and even if the woman is beautiful, dont let her get away with unacceptable behavior. If your woman drives you crazy, and you cant fix the problem, then GET AWAY. Dont let the relationship decay any further. Have the courage to go for someone whos more like you, who can give you the REAL love you need. Because if you dont want to be alone, its better to be choosy and find true love, then go with the first girl you get, and find true heartbreak. You got to make her guess and keep her on her toes whether you like her or not. Keep her guessing about you so she gets curious. If you pay her a lot of compliments about how good she looks today early on, then all of that mystery is gone because she already knows that you are into her. And that doesn't create any attraction. You need to push her emotional trigger buttons to create attraction, and you do that by teasing her and busting her balls. You need to show her that you are a man and not a doormat. So instead of doing something for her (I dunno, like a lift for instance) like every friend would, just be cheeky and say "ok ... what do I get in return? Naw, not THAT girlie, you gotta stop thinking about sex all the time...but an ice-cream is a start". There you go! THAT'S how you press her buttons and get her attracted to you. The Hobbit Diet Plan

By Jaime Smith Have you ever wondered what the easiest way to lose weight (and more importantly body fat) was? I know I have. The United States currently has the highest incidence of obesity ever, and the problem is only getting worse. The problem is that we are obese because we are constantly trying to find the easiest way to lose weight. It's a never-ending battle. We develop fat-free this, and sugar-free that, but still no weight loss. Well, I'm here to tell you that there is an easy way to lose body fat, and it's not what you might think. You see, most people's common sense would tell you that in order to lose body fat you need to eat less food. I'm here to tell you that this is not always the case. A lot of times, the best way to burn excess body fat is by eating more, or at least more often. That's why I call this the Hobbit Diet Plan. You see, the Hobbits, from the book and movie series "Lord of the Rings", tend to eat many meals throughout the day instead of just 2 or 3 like most Americans. If you've seen the first movie in the series, you'll remember a scene where the Hobbits stop to eat, and are scolded for doing so. Their guide tells them that they've already eaten breakfast, to which one Hobbit quickly replies, "Yes, but what about 'second' breakfast". He then goes on to ask about several other meals that the Hobbits have become so accustomed to eating. All in all, I believe the total meals add up to 6. That's right, 6 meals a day. Now, 6 meals a day might seem absurd, but the Hobbits have it nailed. By eating more meals spread throughout the day, you are actually helping your body to keep your metabolism as high as possible. Which in turn means your body will naturally burn more calories, even while you're sitting on the couch. By eating less often, you are almost guaranteed that your body will go into "starvation" mode, and hold onto every drop of body fat that it can in order to survive. This, unfortunately, is a genetic trait passed down from our ancestors thousands of years ago, when food was scarce. When you give your body less calories, or go long periods without eating, your body automatically fears the worst and assumes that you won't be getting another meal anytime soon. So what does your wonderful body do? It begins to burn less calories in order to conserve what it currently has stored. Your body also begins to break down your own muscles for fuel instead of using the body fat. Your body thinks this is the perfect solution. It's getting rid of the muscle that is taking so much energy, and it's conserving its fat stores for later down the road when you really need it. Well, we all know that you're not really going to starve. So, what happens when you finally do eat? Your body is still afraid that another starvation is coming, so it packs all of those calories away in the form of fat for the next time you have to go without. And you get fatter. Vicious cycle. So, how do we break the cycle. Eat like the Hobbits. Eat more often every day. Preferably 5 - 6 meals spaced evenly throughout the your waking hours, about every 3 - 4 hours. I know, you're thinking "Holy cow, this guy wants me to eat every 3 or 4 hours?". That's right! You see, by eating more often, you are signaling your body that you are well nourished and there is no sign of shortage ahead, so it's OK to go ahead and burn off all of that extra energy stored in the form of fat. There are a few important things to remember though. Although we are going to be eating 5 - 6 meals a day, we still need to be conscious of the calories that we are taking in. You shouldn't be eating 5 - 6 meals made up of Quarter Pounders and Fries, or Big Macs and Chocolate Shakes. Your body still only needs a certain number of calories in order to function efficiently. If you want to burn fat, you need to make sure that you are just a little below that level. "Ah ha!", you say, "You tricked us". No, not really. I think you'd be surprised at how many calories your body really needs to run efficiently. As a matter of fact, it is very common for many people to not be getting enough calories, and in turn, be sending their bodies into starvation mode. So how many calories does your body really need? Well, that's a good question, and the right answer depends on what your body composition is. Now, that's a pretty heavy bit of math for right now, but here are some averages. For women, the average calorie need to maintain body weight is between 2000 - 2100 calories per day. Which means, in order to lose weight (preferably body fat), you should be taking in 1400 - 1800 calories per day. For men, the average calorie need to maintain body weight is between 2700 - 2900 calories per day. Which means, in order to lose weight (again, preferably body fat), you should be taking in 2200 - 2700 calories. That's a pretty substantial amount of calories. This is by no means a starvation diet. Just a quick bit of math will show that a man who's trying to maintain 2500 calories a day and eating 5 times a day is allowed 500 calories per meal. If you make the right food choices, 500 calories is a lot of food. For example, you could eat 4 ounces of grilled chicken, a 6 ounce baked potato, a cup of broccoli, and a large (2 cups) mixed green salad with light italian dressing, and still only be at around 450 calories. That's a lot of food! So, if you want to burn some fat, and be able to eat great while doing it, I recommend that you eat like the Hobbits. Try to eat 5 - 6 balanced meals a day about every 3 - 4 hours. I think you'll be amazed at the results. Deferral Or Waitlisted: What's The Difference?

By Chris Stout You stalk the mailman everyday. Youve been waiting for months and months, and you just cant wait any longer. You turned everything in, complete and on time. Advanced Placement (AP) classes bloated your GPA. Youre SAT scores were way past the minimum requirements. Youre personal essay was Pulitzer-esque. You had a letter of recommendation from Colin Powell himself, but still no answer. Then one day it comes. Your offer letter is either good news, bad news or maybe. The maybe comes in the form of deferrals and waitlists. With bad news, you move on. With good news, you look forward. If you get a maybe, youre moment of truth is postponed, and youre stuck in limbo. If your application is deferred, youve gone through the early action or early decision process. Early action is when you apply for admissions well before the deadline, you will receive an early response and youll have until May to choose whether or not you want to attend. Early decision is quite similar, you apply early and get an early response. The difference between early action and early decision is that early decision involves more commitment. When you apply as an early decision applicant, you promise to attend if accepted. You agree to drop all other college applications. If you are deferred as an early action applicant, your application just gets put into the regular stack of applicants to be reviewed later. If you are deferred as an early decision applicant, youre free from your exclusive commitment to attend, and your application is reviewed through the regular admissions process. In both cases, youre still stuck with maybe. Getting waitlisted is the ultimate dont call us, well call you situation. Youre certainly not out, but youre definitely not in, at least not yet. When you get on the waitlist, you havent been cut completely, but youre a reservist at best. You have to wait for enough accepted applicants to refuse their offers before you can earn a spot on the roster. The degree to which you can be optimistic about the future decision of your deferral or waitlist situation really depends on how the college you applied to handles their admissions process. You could be almost there or not even close, but its best to assume the worst. That way, you can take evasive action and form contingency plans. If you happen to make it, youll be that much more surprised and enthused. But for practical purposes, you should plan to move on. Just in case though, be serious about your senior year. Keep the admissions office apprised of your continued accomplishments. Let them know that you are a dedicated, hard-working student who respects the admissions process, but also let them know that you are worthy of further consideration. Colors You Should Never Have In Your Tackle Box

By Charles E. White I have been fishing with an old friend lately named Joe. I have known him since he was born 38 years ago, 39 tomorrow. Happy Birthday Joe! We have been fishing at a lake I love to fish, mainly because of the big bass there. If youre a Bass Fishing Newsletter Subscriber, you know where Im talking about. Anyway, if you look in most peoples tackle boxes you will find normal color lures like grape, black, brown, purple, and the normal colors for lures.
Joe is a different story When you look in Joes tackle box you see some of the ugliest lures you have ever seen. Lures like a bright green tube that you almost need sunglasses to look at it. Or his green frog that is so far from any color of a frog that you wonder where he got it and why anyone would purchase that color to begin with to fish for bass. So, what is my point? Well, he catches bass on these darn lures. I mean I wouldnt even want people to know I even have them in my tackle box but he is proud as he can be of them and uses them regularly and catches fish with them. I have to start asking myself if maybe I should invest in a few of them. They go against everything I have ever read about choosing a color to fish in stained water. He has caught bass with them on sunny days, cloudy days and days when it was raining. The first time he used them and hooked two bass, I thought it was just luck. Well, then he caught two more bass tonight on them while I didnt even have a good strike, using the normal colored lures most bass fishermen use. Not some flourescent bright green things like he uses. Ok, now if you read most articles about fishing stained water, you will read to use dark colored lures like black and grape because the dark colors in stained water show up better. I might have to change my perception on this if he continues to catch fish the way he does on these bright flourescent colors. Well, I was informed tonight, he has a lure that he made and he has never seen another lure like it anywhere. I can hardly wait to see this thing. I bet it is bright pink or something. He also tells me he has caught bass on it. If this lure come out to be another flourescent bright color like he has been using and catches bass, I am going to tell him the new rules are that he cant use them anymore when we fish together because the colors embarrass me when people see them.. So, you might be asking yourself.what is the point in this post? I am going to tell you here and now. Just because you have never read about a pro using a different color lure doesnt mean it isnt going to work and catch bass. If nothing else, Joe has made me a believer in that statement. Just because you have never seen a color in another humans tackle box doesnt mean it isnt any good. I am going to start buying bright colored lures like I would have never dreamed of owning before this year fishing with Joe. It seems that you have done all the right things in order to maximize your opportunity to meet people, and always put a lot of effort into looking your best- so why do your efforts usually leave your feeling like a wallflower, with no prospects on the horizon. What are you doing/not doing? There are many singles out there, looking for love. In their quest to meet compatible people- they often invest a great deal of time and money on their appearance and on finding and utilizing the resources available to help and enhance their search. These include everything from clothing, transportation and costs for their personal ad to self-help books, matchmakers and fees that cover the many singles events they attend. Many of these are necessary expenses that will increase ones probability of meeting Mr./Ms Right - however, an important aspect may be getting overlooked.
